I think the Power of CSS & Design is a great resource. I reviewed the information on floating and found it a good refresher. I'm going to pdf these files to keep as a reference document.
I read a little of the the designers answering questions. I think it's very interesting that several of these professionals agree that the longer you spend at the computer the less creative you will be. They suggest going different places and doing different things to prime the creative pump.
The function vs design is something that we discussed a lot in my Dreamweaver class. I'm glad to read that these designers feel there is a way to have balance between a user friendly site and a nicely designed site. So many sites are boring boxes. They convey information but are not appealing to the senses.
